Course Details

  • The duration of the course shall be three academic years comprising of 6 semesters.

The subjects of study prescribed for the course shall be as under

I Semester

  3. Law of Torts
  4. Family Law - I (Hindu Law)
  5. Criminal Law - I (Indian Penal Code)

II Semester

  1. Contract - II
  2. Company Law
  3. Property Law
  4. Administrative Law
  5. Family Law - II (Mohammedan law and Indian Succession Act)
II Year LL.B

III Semester

  1. Environmental Law
  2. Labour Law
  3. Criminal Law - II (Criminal Procedure Code, Juvenile Justice Act, Probation of Offenders Act)
  4. Clinical Course I - Professional Ethics and Professional Accounting System Probation of Offenders Act)
  5. Jurisprudence
  6. Clinical Course I - Professional Ethics and Professional Accounting System

IV Semester

  1. Public International Law
  2. Optional - I Human Rights Law and Practice/Right to Information
  3. Optional - II Banking Law/Insurance Law
  4. Clinical Course II - Alternative Dispute Resolution Systems

V Semester

  1. Civil Procedure Code & Limitation Act
  2. Optional - III Intellectual Property Rights-I/Penology & Victimology
  3. Optional - IV Interpretation of Statutes & Principles of Legislation/Competition Law
  4. Clinical Course III - Drafting, Pleading & Conveyance

VI Semester

  4. Optional - VI Women and Criminal Law & Law related to Child/International Trade Economics
  5. Clinical Course IV - Moot Court Exercise and Internship


  • An applicant who has graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a university established by an Act of Parliament or state legislature or deemed university or equivalent thereto , may apply for three year degree course in law.
  • Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination shall not be below 45% in case of GM students and 40% in case of SC and ST applicants.


The medium of instruction shall be English.


0900 Hrs. to 1700 Hrs. on all working days.

Documents to be produced at the time of admission

  • SSLC/X Class certificate/ marks card containing date of birth
  • P.U.C./ 12th std/ HSC/or any equivalent examination marks card in case of 5yrs LLB Course
  • 10, +2 and UG Degree marks cards of all semester and passing certificate/Degree Certificate in case of 3yrs LLB Course.
  • Caste and income certificate, if fee concession is claimed by SC/ST/Cat-1
  • Eligibility certificate and migration certificate, if needed
  • Disability Certificate in the case of physically handicapped.
  • Two recent Pass-port size photos without Signature.
