Library is the sacro sanctum of an educational institution. One of the core objects of Library of VLS is to make the Law School a Legal Research Centre par excellence. The library offers its researchers one of the finest collections of legal materials in both print and digital formats.
Vidya Vikas Law School has subscribed to all leading professional law journals like All India Reporter, Supreme Court Cases, Criminal Law Journal, Divorce & Matrimonial Cases, Company Law Journal, Consumer Protection Judgments, Labour Law Journal, etc. with back volumes. It has procured all titles of leading law publishers like LexisNexis Butterworth Wadhwa Nagpur, Eastern Book Company and Universal Law Publishing, and plenty of other books on Management and other social sciences.
Technology has been instilled in the library at all possible manner. Apart from the above books and journals, VLS has subscribed to web based online legal databases like manupatra.com; and EBSCO Host, which gives privileged access to Students and teachers to empower them with in-depth legislative, regulatory and procedural information critical for decision making, without having to go to multiple sources. It provides access to Judgments of the Supreme Court and all other High Courts, Orders of the Tribunals (CEGAT, ITAT, SAT, NCDRC, CLB, DRAT, MRTP) with daily updates; Court Rules, Court Fees, Stamp Duties, Bare Acts, Ordinances, Bills in Parliament and more on the Indian Legal System. There is a computer section attached to the library with 20 machines to facilitate online research.
The Reprographic Section in the Library comes to the rescue of the students to get photo copies of relevant materials instantly and without much hassle.
